As far as my personal projects go, they are tested only in the latest versions of each browser. No backward compatibility unless it’s a requirement.

But when it comes to clients, I’m afraid I have to test even in IE6 sometimes.

With all due respect, I think you’ve misinterpreted how Section 508 impacts the use of HTML5 & related technologies.

The fact is that even on older browsers not capable of rendering HTML5 without JavaScript help, assistive technologies can still identify functional text. The use of the “HTML5 Shim” or even Modernizr does not change that.

To your specific example, is no more readable to assistive technologies than .

Good review, then I’m not the only one! I stopped looking deeper into it when I saw there was no preference for moving the sidebar. My workflow is simualar to your, and having the sidebar on the left side is like moving down the OSX menubar to the middle of the screen.
Too bad, this time BBEdit actually “sucks”. And TextWrangler just isn’t enough.

It works for me, and I even suggested to @themacalope that he use that. But it is curious why that preference was taken out of the preference window and delegated to a command line “expert” preference when people obviously used it. Besides, the function key is a little harder for your pinky to get to than the shift key is. I know that’s picking nits, but when you’re using something everyday, muscle memory becomes a factor.

Chuck’s response is typical of why talk radio is dying, along with newspapers and magazines. If they cannot sell ads for the podcast, then they have a crappy sales force and/or they simply do not understand how valuable the podcast is. Oy.

Thanks for sharing these. It is clear that they have no idea how valuable the Kornheiser brand is and how to use it. That’s not our problem, that’s THEIR problem. It is time to start unsubscribing from WTEM podcasts, unfollowing @ESPNRadio980 and contacting their advertisers to let them know that the station they pay to help grow their customer base aggressively dismisses those very same customers. #FreeMrTony

Still haven’t decided 100%, but right now I’m leaning towards the 32GB Wi-Fi only in black. The black part is definite, 32GB should be plenty of storage, the only real question is the connectivity. I’m almost inclined to go with the Wi-Fi only just so I don’t have to pick my poison in terms of carrier. I don’t really want to spend the extra $$$ for data charge, there are still plenty of things you can do with an iPad when it’s not online, and I spend much of my time in Wi-Fi areas anyway.
